Concrete scanning is a non-destructive method to locate targets within concrete floors, walls and structures prior to concrete cutting, coring or drilling. It is also used to indentify objects within the concrete for inspections and documentation.
Post Tension, Rebar location and Depth.
Measure Concrete Thickness & Depth.
Locating non-metallic objects such as PVC conduits and large voids in the concrete.
Determining whether concrete block is filled or hollow as well as whether it has steel reinforcement.
What Is..... Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) can be defined as an Ultra Wide Band (UWB) imaging technology used for concrete and subsurface earth exploration. GPR uses an electromagnetic energy signal that penetrates through the surface and subsurface to reflect solid objects and identify changes in the electrical and magnetic properties in the concrete or underground.
